The game so far.
Every chapter is a move. Some are played, one is on the clock, and a few are sealed in an envelope until it is time.
Opening
Pieces, then boards, then the token.- ♙1. e4PlayedChapter 1
The pieces arrive
3,200 Checkmates, each born on its own square of a chessboard, written into its traits forever. For a long time they wandered with no board to stand on. Beautiful, but a piece alone is not a game.
- ♘2. Nf3Next moveChapter 2
The boards
1,024 Chessboards. Each remembers a few glowing squares, its positions: a Common board one, a Legendary five. Holders mint first, one each, before anyone else. Nobody knows which squares a board remembers until every board has an owner.
- ♗3. Bc4ComingChapter 3
The token enters the board
Only after the last board is minted. Holders of both collections buy first at 0% fee, and receive the airdrop: a little now and the rest over six months, or wait 30 days and get a third more.
Middlegame
Where the game is played every day.- ♔4. O-OComingChapter 4
Castle
Put up to 16 pieces on your board, one per square, and you hold a Position that earns tokens every day. A piece on one of the board's glowing squares has come home. King with Queen, all six kinds, a Full Set: the old rules pay more. Castle tokens into your Position for up to +50%.
- ♕5. Qh5ComingChapter 5
One Move a day
Move one of your staked pieces every day. Each Move burns tokens and earns weight in the weekly pot, filled by every trade. Rarer pieces move heavier, days in a row add up to +30%, and four weeks in a row open the monthly pot.
- ♖6. Re1ComingChapter 6
The lock
No pieces? Lock tokens for 16, 32, 64 or 128 days. Each step doubles the time and the weight, and lockers share a slice of every day's rewards.
- ♙7. d4ComingChapter 7
Hold the centre
Half of every trading fee goes to the players, part of the rest deepens a pool that is locked forever. When the market panics for real, Dip mode makes buying almost free until the price recovers.
Endgame
Moves already decided. Not yet shown.- ?8. ?SealedChapter 8
New pieces are being carved
Not every piece has reached the board. New collections are in the workshop, and the players already on the board will be the first to see them. That is all we can say. For now.
- ?9. ?SealedChapter 9
Prizes from beyond the board
The pots pay in ETH and tokens. Some day, they may pay in something nobody expects from a chess game.
Every number, rule and contract is in the docs.
